Over 3 days Bonvic Holdings will be hosting the first ever Security and Defence EXPO from the 19th to 21st of April 2018 at the Stanbic Bank Piazza, in Gaborone.
“It will be providing the people of Botswana with a fun filled, educational and business program of activities to create awareness about the security sector. The Security and Defence Expo seeks to draw together tourists, local people, business, youth, community organizations, media and visitors all over the SADC region to celebrate the country’s diversity in security and defence industries under the theme ‘‘Human Skills, Technology and The Future,’ said Victor Leshomo, Security and Defence Expo event organizer.
He said, “The Expo offers sponsors the opportunity to promote nation-building, advance social cohesion and boost economic development in one of the most important sectors of the economy – Security. It is a platform that also enables the people of Gaborone and other parts of the country come together in a fun, relaxed environment infused with a positive educational spirit.”
The vision of Bonvic Holdings is for the Security & Defence Expo to contribute to long term development of Botswana’s economy and community and in so doing achieve international recognition both for Gaborone and the event.
Both private and government security and defence departments/companies are expected to exhibit at the EXPO to sell their products and services to Batswana.
