The Botswana Innovation Hub(BIH) as announced that it will hold the second instalment of Innovation Botswana Expo on the 25th October 2018, which endeavours to showcase innovations ranging from indigenour knowledge based businesses services to mobile applications.
The programme for upcoming Innovation Botswana 2018 comprises thought leadership talks on creating efficiencies using innovation, ethics of artificial intelligence and big Data for big benefits.
“Innovation Botswana 2018 will open with an all day hackthon activity on the 24th October that will see 65 youthful Botswana developers collaborating in computer coding to provide a solution to a real life problem statement,” said Dr Budzanani Tacheba, BIH Director Cluster Development.
The theme for Innovation Botswana is ‘Igniting the Innovation Spirit,’ and at the event an App Factory will be launched to provide a platform for developers to test new products and services.
