Matebeleng Milling has officially announced the Launch of “Furry Tail,”, Botswana’s very first locally manufactured dog food at a press function at BSPCA Monday.
Furry Tail is made up of cereals, soya, meat and animal derivatives, vitamins and minerals.
It is sold in 7kg packets available in most stores in Gaborone and the greater Gaborone area including Pick and Pay, Choppies and Save Rite. Sefalana and Shoprite will also soon be joining the list of stores where Furry Tail is available and hopefully many more will follow it has been revealed.
“We also have special packages for our private or individual clients like, free delivery within Gaborone for orders of two 25kg bags for only P210 per bag. Orders can be placed and payed for at 76351942,” said Nature Inger, Marketing and Creative Specialist for Furry Tail.
Matebeleng Milling aims to use this product to make a positive difference in the country by working with organizations such as BSPCA to fulfil part of its social responsibility to improve the overall well-being, health and treatment of animals in Botswana by donating ten bags of dog food to the animal shelter every month.
