The Botswana Unified Revenue Service(BURS)  have revealed that they have helped 12,412 companies in Botswana to pay 165,681 employees claims totalling a staggering amount of P172,570,849.00 as part of COVID-19 measures to subsidize the wage bill of companies stifled by corona virus.

It is 74% of requested amount with an amount of P37,819,370.00, a sizeable 16% of total figure sought rejected by banks because applicants have written incorrect account details.
