BTC gives away over P70,000.00 in prizes recognizing customer loyalty

Ululating traditional dancers generated crowd support for a give away competition organized by telecommunications leader Botswana Telecommunications Corporation(BTC) at the bus rank Friday to commemorate 40 years in this rapidly growing sector.

 BTC rewarded customers for their loyalty through the Recharge & Win competitions which has been running since its launch on the 5^th November 2021.

Ms. Boipelo Segale, Acting General Manager Consumer Sales at BTC, said the Company is driven by a desire to see every Motswana from “our vast geographic land benefit and leverage from our services and products to enable their socio- economic growth.” 

She said the Company, found it prudent to reward and celebrate with loyal customers who buy BTC airtime everyday especially in these trying times of COVID-19.

 Six customers walked away with P10,000.00 each and one of them was excited with prize money because they will use it to start a small business and grow their money and continue to use BTC services.

“It will help with groceries during a difficult period,” said Godfrey Dzawanda one of the lucky winners.

He encouraged the onlookers to support BTC so that they can benefit more like him.

An enthusiastic, Tshepiso Phenyo Kentse said she was blessed to win Fast Connect Modem with 3 months free internet. She thanked BTC for the gesture and saying the connectivity will bring some ease into her family life, as the children will be able to use it for their school homework. Thabiso Mmatli won herself a Samsung Tablet valued at P9000.00 that included P1000.00 worth of airtime.

For a customer to be part of the exciting BTC 2021 “Recharge to Win” competition, they must recharge with BTC airtime of P50 or more using the following channels; Vouchers, Virtual channels, Bank Top up, Nthope, Mobile APP and SMEGA.

They will then receive an sms notifying them that they have been entered into the draw.
