Gaborone – Botswana Life Insurance Limited (Botswana Life) today officially launched the International Investment Product designed to assist Affluent Clients access Offshore Investments through Sanlam Global Investment Solutions. As it continues to gain traction, the self-administered platform offers an array of investment options.

On Tuesday 19th March 2019, the legacy company hosted a masterclass for existing clients and those interested in taking up the investment product. Led by Sanlam Global Marketing Head & Artificial Intelligence Manager, Gavin Meiring, guests at the breakfast session were treated to an exclusive workshop on how to manage the self-administered platform.

Some unique features offered through this plan include:

  • Allowing investors to view the transactions in their investment account over the internet.
  • Each investor will be allocated a login name and access password that will allow them to monitor and view their investments, granting them full access to their account.
  • The plan is offered as a single International Investment Product, giving Affluent clients access to their investment value at any time, and will be distributed through accredited agents, Wealth Managers and contracted brokers.
