The MNCapital Group will host the 2nd Annual Botswana Procurement and Supply Chain Conference at Majestic Hotel in Palapye, under the theme ‘Driving Sustainability and ESG Integration in Procurement,’ on the 11th June 2025 organized revealed.
The conference will endeavor to convene 150 delegates from key sectors including Government departments, state owned enterprises and development partners.
Michael Ndinisa, Chief Executive Officer for MNCapital, said “We have branched into procurement as an interest. There is a lot things that do not make sense. We look at sustainability in the procurement space. There is a new Act.”
He said, “We have experts who will discuss these issues.”
The idea is for stakeholders to address challenges in local supplier development, value chain localization and procurement ethics. It also hopes to discuss innovations in digital procurement, e-sourcing and strategic sourcing technologies.
It will also explore regulatory and policy frameworks supporting procurement reform and transparency.
Ndinisa revealed that there is a lot of discussion around the issue of direct appointment.
