The Consumer Fair which will be kickstarted Monday will play host to a staggering 450 exhibitors with significant efforts being made to meaningful integrate local Small, Medium and Micro Enterprise Businesses in areas as diverse as security, printing and publishing, advertising and marketing, cleaning and entertainment.

“We have seen it fit to review our previous slogan and this time around we endeavour to carry one that is relevant to the times and came up with, ‘Engage, shop and Showcase,’ which encompasses the essence of what we aim to achieve during these eventful days,” said Gorata Gabaraane, Chief Executive Officer, Fairgrounds Holdings.

She said, “In addition, we have also adopted the theme Fostering Consumer Confidence through Business Resilience post COVID pandemic, a theme that reflects our collective journey of overcoming challenges and embracing opportunities in the wake of the global crises.

”There will also be increased participation of the Diamond Pavilion, Ministry of Defence and Security. A traders Hub will increase opportunities for trading and shopping at the week long Fair.

Gabaraane, said “In view of the demand, the Fair has offered an opportunity to local entertainment companies to provide a variety of entertainment that include rides, inflatable slides, zip lines, bikers, quad bikes and horse riding.”
