On the 3rd May 2025, all roads will lead to Ramotswa as it hosts a dynamic event, “GaMalete Family Fun Day”. It will cater for children whilst adults can let their hair loose and dance to the live performances from popular regional musicians.
The event will begin at 10am, families are permitted to bring camp chairs and cooler boxes (the latter will be cost free till 1800hrs). Children will be gifted with free pop-corn and drinks and the following activities will be available: Swimming, Waterpark, Jumping Castles, Easter egg hunt, Face painting, Sack Racing, 5 aside soccer, Volley ball, Easter Egg hunt, Board games, etc. However, children will not be allowed after 1900hrs.
Attendees will dance to “Nako Tsele, ke tsamaile mafatshe ke batlane le lerato” by emerging local sensation Lioness Ratang and “Ga go pala tlogela” by Juu Matere. Vee Mampeezy. Slizer, Mingo Touch, 862, Ancestral Roots will also grace the stage with lives performances, whilst a host of deejays will take to the decks, such as FME DJ’s DJ’s Popeye, FME DJ’s, Fatsheman, Melcado, Piink, DJ Finch, Tswak Vellas, DA Karli, DJ BAx, Tevab, DJ Tisco, Robotic Siza, Zuka Dash, Big Jay.
Food will be sold throughout the day at stalls. Tickets are priced as follows: Kids (3-17 years) P100, Adult P150, Double P300, Gate P200. However, the following Easter prices will be offered between the 17th April and 21st April: – P175 – kids double, adults double P250, family of five – P500 (2 adults and 2 kids).
