Standard Chartered Botswana is proud to announce the launch of its Eazy Pula Agent Banking service, in partnership with the BotswanaPost.
The Eazy Pula service will enable members of the public to transact with Standard Chartered Bank through the use of its various Agents countrywide.
This partnership forms part of Standard Chartered Botswana’s continuous evaluation of its distribution model, as it drives its digitisation strategy to ensure increased access to Standard Chartered. Standard Chartered has partnered with BotswanaPost to deliver sixteen (16) sites in phase one – namely in Bobonong, Francistown, Ghanzi, Goodhope, Jwaneng, Kanye, Kasane, Mahalapye, Molepolole, Maun, Mochudi, Moshupa, Rakops, Seronga, Serowe and Shakawe.

We are fully aligned to the notion of leaving no one behind, as we solution towards optimizing our distribution models for the benefit of our various clients.”
A further twenty (20) sites are available with other partners including Motovac, Cellphone Warehouse, Sesigo and Seanokeng Service Station. Standard Chartered has committed to growing the Agent Banking Service Eazy Pula from 36 sites to 150 sites by the end of 2023.
Speaking at the launch, the Botswana Post Chief Executive Officer(CEO), Cornelius Ramatlhakwane stressed the century old legacy of the two entities, highlighting the strategic direction of the Botswana Post towards digitisation.
“This has in the last ten (10) years been made possible by infusing technology into our Strategic and developmental plans across our various business lines. Truth be told, we are no longer your typical traditional Post office; we host a broad array of digital products and services,” said Ramatlhakwane.
The Eazy Pula Agent Banking service, alongside other Standard Chartered products such as cardless cash – our voucher-based ATM withdrawal service, and mobile transfers through our mobile money operators, provide access to financial services to all which is part Standard Chartered’s financial deliverable.
